So in this dream there apparently was this race where people ride on their Pokemon who can only touch a small suspended wire elevated like sticks. The wire looked sharp... Just to say that this was really weird.
Anyways there was three main characters in my dream, none of which were me. There was this lady who was the protagonist who had lost her memory, but had just recently regained it and her goal was to defeat the antagonist, a really annoying guy who apparently the lady was dating before she lost her memory, in the race because if he won, bad stuff would happen. It was not all that clear. The last person was the boyfriend of the lady who had helped her while she was an amnesiac. If this sounds familiar then yes. It took me a bit to realize that I dreamt up some weird ass version of Overboard (an older movie). Though apparently the lady wasn't a bitch before.
Also the reason why the lady lost her memory was an operation in which she partook in to infuse herself with the power of comedy... The visual representation of that was a jester head made up of fuzzy rainbows being shoved into her body. Lord knows why she did this.
